Welcome to the Good Luck Flower Farm

Hello!

I’m Katie, and I’m so glad you’re here!

The name Good Luck Flower Farm comes from a feeling I’ve always carried with me: the desire to wish the very best for other people. I love the idea of sending good luck out into the world. Whether it’s a bouquet for a birthday, a wedding, a new baby, a difficult season, a celebration, or simply because someone deserves something beautiful, each arrangement carries that same quiet message: I’m thinking of you. I’m rooting for you. Good luck.

Our Story

Good Luck Flower Farm was born from a simple truth: I just love flowers. I love the way they stop you in your tracks. The way they brighten a kitchen counter, mark life’s biggest celebrations, or show up unexpectedly on an ordinary Tuesday and somehow make the whole day feel lighter. Flowers bring joy. They remind us to notice beauty, to celebrate the season we’re in, and to care for one another in small but meaningful ways. And I wanted to be part of that. By day, I work full-time in a career I genuinely love. But outside of office hours, you’ll usually find me in muddy boots, walking the flower rows with dirt under my fingernails, coffee in hand, and at least one dog “helping” by enthusiastically digging holes where weeds definitely did not need to be removed. People often ask me, “When do you rest?” The honest answer? Not that much. But that’s okay. Because this doesn’t feel like another job. It feels like peace. There is something deeply grounding about working with the seasons - planting tiny seeds and trusting them to grow, harvesting flowers in the cool morning light, feeling the sun on your shoulders, and yes, sometimes working in the rain because flowers don’t wait for perfect conditions. The farm reminds me to slow down, pay attention, and appreciate the beauty that exists in everyday moments.

We specialize in locally grown, seasonal flowers cultivated with care and without chemicals. Our flowers are chosen not just for their beauty, but for the way they capture a moment in time. Spring’s delicate sweetness gives way to summer’s joyful abundance. Every bouquet reflects what’s naturally thriving right here on our little patch of earth. From market bouquets and special event florals to wedding flowers and subscriptions, everything we create is designed to help people celebrate the ordinary and the extraordinary alike. We believe flowers shouldn’t be reserved only for grand occasions. A handful of blooms on the kitchen table can change the atmosphere of an entire home. A bouquet handed to a friend can say what words sometimes can’t.

Good Luck Flower Farm is also a family effort, even if not everyone signed up quite as enthusiastically. My husband lends his tractor expertise when the heavy work needs doing. My teenage daughter helps—sometimes reluctantly—but has discovered that she enjoys learning the art of floral design. And our dogs faithfully supervise every task, convinced that digging random holes counts as quality control. What makes our farm different isn’t just the flowers themselves. It’s the intention behind them. We grow flowers for people who want to buy flowers. People who understand that beauty matters. People who believe local businesses strengthen communities. People who know that joy isn’t frivolous—it’s necessary.

This farm is proof that you don’t have to choose just one version of yourself. It’s about a woman with a demanding career who built a second life among the rows of blooms because she believed beauty, hard work, and a little bit of luck could coexist.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for supporting local agriculture. Thank you for allowing our flowers to become part of your celebrations, your comfort, your milestones, and your ordinary Tuesdays. I hope whenever you bring home flowers from Good Luck Flower Farm, they make you pause for just a moment. Take a deep breath. Notice what’s beautiful. And remember that someone out there is wishing you all the good luck in the world. We can’t wait to grow something beautiful for you.
